Put an End to the Cruel Puppy Mill Industry!

She's blind, has eight teeth and weighs just 18 pounds, yet Mabel can light up a room. The spirited little Beagle spent more than 10 years in a small wire cage with minimal human contact or veterinary care.

Her sole purpose was to deliver litters of purebred puppies that would turn a profit for the puppy mill. Without intervention, Mabel would have lived the rest of her days in that cage, just another unseen victim of the cruel puppy mill industry.

Unfortunately, Mabel's story is not unique. Puppy mill owners count on millions of people falling in love with their puppies, but buyer beware, a puppy mill can be licensed yet operate with minimal standards. By law, puppy mills can own more than 1,000 dogs, keep them in small wire cages for life and breed them as often as possible. Not much of a life for man's best friend!

Take action to help other dogs like Mabel. By pledging to adopt from a shelter or rescue group, instead of buying a puppy from a pet store, you can save dogs like Mabel and help create a world where there are No More Homeless Pets.

Sign the pledge to help abused dogs and stop the cruelty that goes on in puppy mills around the nation.

I pledge to:

1. Never buy a dog or cat from a pet store or from the internet.

2. Adopt my next pet from a shelter or rescue group.
