Special interest groups are trying to block progress on health care reform by using myths and scare tactics. The myths say that health care reform would ration your care, hurt Medicare and be a government takeover. These are all false statements.
What is the reality of health care reform? All of the health care reform plans being debated in Congress would ensure that you and your doctor are the ones making decisions about your health. The majority of working Americans will continue to receive their health care through their employer. In addition, health care reform will strengthen Medicare by eliminating billions of dollars in waste while lowering prescription drug prices.
We need to clarify the reality of health care reform so that we can save our broken health care system. Urge your member of Congress not to get caught up in the health care myths, ensuring that all Americans can get the health care they need.

Isn't it time to quit playing politics with the lives of the American people? The drug and insurance companies certainly have deep pockets filled with rewards to bestow upon their faithful congressional members, don't they? It would be an interesting revelation to make public the number and names of our elected officials who have shares of stock in one or more insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, and for-profit hospitals and clinics of every description. We desperately need health care reform, and we need it NOW! In other words -- cut the BULL!

I am an educator, and have studied alternative medicine, I have employer provided insurance but I know many people of low and middle income status who do not becasue it is so expensive, we need to do something now, and Obama has a good moral code that he is presenting from.

I do NOT want this passed! WHY? Because Congress & President Obama intend to STEAL funds from seniors already on Medicare! Secondly, I do NOT agree with abortion being funded 100% by the government! Thirdly, I do NOT agree with the penalty fine that this bill wants to impose on Americans who do not enroll! (If anyone should be "fined", it should be stingy employers like Wal-Mart that refuses to provide healthcare for 100% of its employees!) Fourthly, if this healthcare bill is so wonderful--- WHY doesn't EVERY Congress member and the White House staff sign up for it & WHY shouldn't THEY be fined for NOT signing up!?!
