Dear Decision Maker:
I strongly support Governor Schwarzenegger's proposals to include physical education funding in the budget. Teachers need professional development in physical education and the $85 million in on-going funding is needed for this purpose and to hire elementary school physical education specialists. The $250 million in one time funds will provide for much needed equipment and supplies in order to provide quality physical education for California's children.
