In reality, this deadly program is nothing more than unlawful commercial whaling in disguise. We don't need to kill whales to study them in the 21st century.
More than 30,000 whales have been killed since a global ban on commercial whaling came into effect in 1986. Japan must not continue its whaling program!
Tell Japan to stand firm on its commitment to not target humpback whales, and immediately stop the senseless annual killing of whales!Dear Mr. Ambassador,
Japan kills more than 1,400 whales every year despite a global ban on commercial whaling.
