Tell the US Chamber of Commerce that their job is not Politics!

I have Tolerated but not Gotten Used to the Super Pacs and their Rhetoric ads on Politics and was shocked to see the latest attack ads paid for by the US Chamber of Commerce.

I remember the Chamber of Commerce as an entity developed to help broaden the networking base of local and national businesses not to endorse political views.

In my opinion, the US Chamber of Commerce could find more productive uses for it's members dues. For instance, sponsoring Employment Job Fairs would help the US Chamber members to higher employees suited to their needs and put job seekers in front of strong community businesses looking to hire.

Sign up and share this effort to show the US Chamber of Commerce that we American Citizens have no patience or tolerance for their inappropriate use of funds!

Thank you very much!

To whom it may concern,

This petition has been developed by those of us who believe that the US Chamber of Commerce has taken an unacceptable approach in recent Advocacy Campaigns. In viewing the About Us section of the uschamber.com website, your core mission is stated to be: We advocate for pro-business policies that create jobs and grow our economy.

To advocate for pro-business policies, is an honorable function to help local and national companies create jobs and grow our economy. Taking a negative political approach severely denigrates the prestigious, respectable reputation that has defined the US Chamber of Commerce since its inception.

We already tolerate the negative rhetoric advertising promoted by the Super Pac political industry and believe that the US Chamber of Commerce has no business stooping to such a level.  To continue policies, such as this, positions the US Chamber of Commerce down a slippery slope to becoming an untrustworthy entity with only selfish gains. Clearly this message would incite discord among paid members who trust the US Chamber of Commerce to maintain its pristine reputation.

To not consider changing this new advocacy effort, based on political views, will change the reputation of the US Chamber of Commerce for generation to come.

 Thank you for your time,
