Anti-choice members of the Senate are threatening to filibuster some of President Obama's high-profile nominees simply because they've taken pro-choice positions.
The use of the 'f' word - filibuster - when referring to highly qualified nominees like Judge David Hamilton and Prof. Dawn Johnsen is unacceptable and will not go unanswered!
Urge your senators to fight back against anti-choice senators' attempts to block these highly qualified nominees. Tell the U.S. Senate to confirm Judge Hamilton and Prof. Johnsen without delay!
We took action on “Tell the Senate: Filibuster is NOT an Option”!

People should be allowed to all take turns and express themselves without someone stopping them.

I'm sick and tired of seeing the will of the majority held hostage by a few, bought and paid for Senators who care more about lining their pockets than serving the American people. Stop this filibuster roadblock now! It is killing our democracy!

These nominees deserve an up or down vote. Our country needs to have these positions filled. That is non-negotiable.

Professor Dawn Johnsen may be the best qualified candidate ever nominated to head the OLC. The Republican and perhaps a few Blue Dog Democratic Senators should do the job they were elected to do and confirm worthy noninations.
