Help Refugees Fleeing South Sudan

Violence and deteriorating conditions have made South Sudan a humanitarian emergency. Four million people have been forced from their homes and nearly two million refugees have fled to neighboring countries.

The Bidibidi settlement in Northern Uganda is now home to nearly 300,000 people who have fled violence and persecution. This grim milestone is paired with a critical shortfall in funding that is stretching emergency response capacity to a breaking point.

Stand with the UN Refugee Agency in its mission to reach everyone in need.

USA for UNHCR connects Americans like you to the critical work being done by the UN Refugee Agency. UNHCR is on the ground in 130 countries, providing millions of refugees like those in Uganda with protection, food, clean water and the healthcare they desperately need.

Show your compassion and sign this petition to stand #WithRefugees. Use your voice to call on the international community to redouble its support for refugees from South Sudan and around the world.
As an American, I believe we must help people in their time of greatest need.

I stand with the UN Refugee Agency in its mission to reach everyone in need with lifesaving aid and protection. But without enough support, food and cash assistance will be reduced or will not reach people trapped inside South Sudan or those who've fled across borders.

I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee child gets an education.

I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee family has somewhere safe to live.

I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee can work or learn new skills to make a positive contribution to their community.

I stand #WithRefugees.
