During the school year, more than 20 million children rely on free or reduced-price meals they receive at school. When summer vacation starts, these children need to look elsewhere for assistance. That is why programs like the Feeding America Kids Cafe are important.

Through Kids Cafe, Feeding America helps provide free meals and snacks to low-income children through a variety of community locations where children congregate.

In addition to providing meals, some Kids Cafe programs offer a safe place, where under the supervision of trustworthy staff, kids can get involved in educational, recreational and social activities.

This summer, we must expand our efforts by providing millions of meals to children and families at risk of hunger.
