Show Your Support For Young Cancer Researchers

Lack of funding for cancer research in the United States is a growing problem with far-reaching implications for advances in cancer care. With federal funding at the lowest point it has been in decades, many of our most talented young scientists are unable to pursue a career in cancer research.

That means we’re missing out on insights from young researchers like Rebecca Gardner. Dr. Gardner is working to reprogram the T Cells of patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia to help them recognize - and fight - cancer. Dr. Gardner’s work is currently backed by a Conquer Cancer Foundation early-career grant, but how many others don’t have that support?

We need to take action and support our brightest young scientists as they embark on research careers that will shape the future of cancer prevention, treatment and cure. Sign this pledge to show your support and encouragement for our young cancer researchers.
