End Cheetah And Leopard Hunting

In some countries in Africa, you can hunt leopards and cheetahs completely legally. The leopard is NT meaning near threatened, and the Cheetah is VU meaning vulnerable, which is almost endangered. People can shoot threatened animals in a continent that is not theirs. It is shocking to know that cheetahs and leopards aren't just poached, they are killed legally by tourists who come to these countries. For example, Namibia does this so it can make more money. Countries can earn money other ways...not by letting tourists come in and wipe out all these beautiful animals, especially the cheetah and leopard which happen to be threatened. It will be very upsetting if these cats are gone from the earth.
We the undersigned would like the legal hunting of Cheetahs and Leopards to stop. They are hunted for sport or for their fur and are both threatened, one being almost endangered. Countries like Namibia and South Africa let tourists come in and kill these beautiful animals. These countries let the hunting happen so they can earn more money. There are other ways of earning money...not by letting threatened/near endangered animals get shot. People always care and get upset about poaching of these cats, but not everyone knows that they can be legally shot. It would be great if the cats could work their way up to LC (Least Concern) on the conservation status. Thank you for spending your time reading this letter.
