This is a Petition for the the Funding and Support of a Global Concert Series called 2011 SONGS FOR AFRICA. We are asking The United Nations, World Bank, IMF, US Trade Rep Ron Kirk, President Obama, the Congress and US. Corporation to support this effort to create 2011 Hours of Programming related to the achievements of people of African Descent Past, Present and Future. It is estimated there are 40 Million African Americans and as many as 400 Million people of African Descent in the World. It is time for us to create Jobs and Recurring Income by Connecting Africans to their Heritage while profiting from Content Production, Product Placement and Transmedia Brandcasting for Advertisers wishing to continue to enjoy the 1.1 Trillion Dollars in Buying Power for African Americans. We the undersigned support UN Resolution 64/169 Proclaims the year beginning on 1 January 2011 the International Year for People of African Descent, with a view to strengthening national actions and regional and international cooperation for the benefit of people of African descent in relation to their full enjoyment of economic, cultural, social, civil and political rights, their participation and integration in all political, economic, social and cultural aspects of society, promotion of a greater knowledge of and respect for their diverse heritage and culture;.
We further support The Africa Heritage Society’s plan to create 2011 Songs for Africa a Global Concert Series to celebrate the Achievements of people of African Descent by creating 2011 Hours of Interactive Programming, in music, the arts, television and film.
We support the connection to opportunity and Dual Citizenship for people of African Descent throughout the Continent of Africa as we band together to build Africa by creating jobs for people of African Descent Globally.
