Let service dogs in collier schools
Please sign this Petition to Permit all Service dogs in Collier County Schools to help their disabled handlers. At present, I have a Service dog that is not allowed to attend school with me because Collier County is refusing to add her to my IEP. It's very hard to work in class without the assistance of my Service dog. Service dogs are by law, allowed in any public school across the land -- virtually anywhere their disabled handler needs to go. So in short, why does the school system think they can break the law? Please sign this petition to allow service dogs in school.
Also service dogs are NOT PETS! They are working animals. They are also Durable Medical Equitment. So I happen to know that a school cant say " NO WHEEL CHAIRS ALLOWED IN SCHOOL TO A PERASON WHO NEEDS ONE".
So please sign this so All the disabled kids can have there service dogs assist them in florida.
