BAN DEER DOG HUNTING IN MISSISSIPPI

Dog Hunters in Mississippi as a majority are not ethical, respectible or humane to their dogs and/or the Deer the dogs chase for miles at a time.
I've participated in numerous deer dog hunts on many different occassions with different groups of "Dog Hunters" and each group of "Dog Hunters" shared the same views and I think these views are the same views any "Outlaw" would share.
As a majority of "Dog Hunters" go by the old rule of thumb "If It's Brown, It's down.."  Now for those who don't know the "Dog Hunters" lingo that means they will shoot anything that comes out that the dog has been running, Doe, Spike or Fawn with spots it there is no disgression.  I've seen them all killed and swiftly hidden in a dog box, behind a seat and sent home so the game warden doesn't catch them.
Now to the part of the "Disrespectful Dog Hunter" that thinks he has the right to trespass onto your property to look for his dogs, happens to me every year from Nov 21'st until Dog Hunting season ends I have to tolerate these trespassers that just don't care that the property belongs to you.   These are the ones who purposely make "Dog Drives" on the edge of a private property so that the dogs run across that pivate property to the other side to public land to flush deer from the private property.  Very disrespectful.
What about how these guys treat or should I say mistreat their dogs?
They endanger the dogs along with every motorist that travels the roads they hunt near.  They nearly starve these dogs during deer season and abuse them by the way the choke them while throwing them into the back of a steel box in the back of their trucks without any regard to the ethical or humane treatment of the dog.   They sometimes leave these dogs out for days or weeks in the woods waiting on someone to finally find the dog for them and call just to throw the dog back into the pack for the race again.
How about "Road Hunters"  these are the "Dog Hunters" who you see lined up down the roads standing outside their trucks pretending to just be listening for the dogs while in reality they have their guns loaded and ready to shoot down a public road as soon as any deer jumps out not taking into consideration that a vehicle could be coming around the corner anytime and could possibly kill or injure the motorist.   These same guys know the tricks..  They have CB radios and can tell each hunter to unlaod their guns as soon as one spots a Game Warden.
I'll be honest, each and every single "Dog Hunter" I've ever met was this typical hunter Im speaking of.  I can almost guarantee if you know a "Dog Hunter" or are a "Dog Hunter" yourself you think this same way and know Im telling the truth.   It's time to put a stop to the "Outlaw Dog Hunters of Missississippi" once and for all!  Please sign this petition to get it done!
