We the undersigned;
From Whale Wars to Tanked; (From saving to killing sea life)
The decline of the oceans creatures is becoming more serious. Millions of reef creatures are killed everyday by this hobby. The life on our reefs is in decline and this makes them particularly vulnerable to overexploitation and slow to recover from over collecting and contributes to irreversible changes. If we continue to support this type of behavior the Oceans will die, and then WE DIE!
We believe that promoting animal abuse, is NOT acceptable. We will NOT be supporting this type of activity. Ethics, accountability and responsibility needs to be considered. We stand together Globally to request the removal of this show Tanked, which promotes killing our reefs. We will NOT support any advertisers and will be contacting them as well. This is dispicable behavior.
Strippers in tanks? Black tip reef sharks (which is on the endangered species list) and unprofessional behavior is not what we expect to see. Keeping sharks that get over 8 feet in home aquariums? Promoting Animals that are kept in captivity should be banished and especially those that are ONLY considered to be a Hobby and bought and sold like slaves for money with NO RIGHTS what-so-ever.
Animal planet should not air this show and we request reconsideration. Thank-You.
