Demand Global Warming Facts on Fox News

We commend the recognition and enlightened public admission by Rupert Murdoch and News Corp of the reality of the climate change crisis, Global Warming, and the dire threat it represents to all mankind. The commitment to achieve a neutral carbon footprint in the very near term is an important step forward for News Corp.
While Mr. Murdoch and News Corp may be reluctant to impose editorial decision-making on its news outlets at this time, they are still demonstrating irresponsible corporate behavior in permitting chronic pandering to ignorance on Fox News and their other news outlets by those claiming Global Warming is "a hoax" and "snake-oil" science; and further, that nothing of consequence is being enacted to offset that irresponsibility.
We the undersigned hereby petition Rupert Murdoch and News Corp to, at minimum, require Fox News and all its news outlets to regularly broadcast factual climate change reports representing the consensus of scientific thinking and findings. The well-being of our children and all life on earth are at grave risk. You, Mr. Murdoch, with News Corp, hold within your grasp the power to educate and mobilize humanity towards a solution of this serious threat. Flex this power and the world will recognize you as an important and influential contributor for posterity.
