Animals are sentient and understand when they are about to die. This cow in the video obviously comprehends and resists its inevitable death.
It's 2011 and we're plagued with countless environmental problems. Intensive farming in today's world is another inhumane stumbling block to humanity's evolution. Our welfare as global citizens is suffering needlessly for the sake of the meat industry. More meat leads to more problems and more money being poured down the drain to keep up with those problems.
We ask the UK and European governments to BAN ALL INTENSIVE AND INHUMANE FARMING URGENTLY.
Phase out the use of caged hens in all egg farming, and introduce legislation that will prevent inhumane intensive farming techniques from being introduced in other areas of farming, such as with U.S. style mega dairies.
Ban Intensive Battery and inhumane farming. Ban non eco friendly farming that is harming animals, people, environment and the world. INTRODUCE COMPASSIONATE FARMING, STRONGER ENFORCED LAWS, REGULATIONS AND IMPROVED ANIMAL WELFARE EDUCATION.
Ban intensive / battery farming of hens and ALL other animals INCLUDING BATTERY FARMED ANIMALS FOR THE PET TRADES!

We live in the modern world of 2011 and we are fast moving towards 2012, we have so many world problems with global warming and health problems. Intensive farming in todays world, is inhumane, and endless unimaginable cruelty to each individual animal. Our animals, environment and humans welfare is suffering needlessly just for the sake of money.
Just because animals are voiceless, it doesn't mean we the people around the world are totally voiceless and blind to those who profit from the blood, tears and flesh of another living being.
