Enacting A Law Requiring Pet Owner's To Spay and Neuter Pets
Because of our country's pet overpopulation crisis, millions of perfectly healthy and adoptable animals are euthanased each year. This petition asks our law maker's to put a stop to these deaths by enacting a law that requires all pet owner's to spay and neuter their pets. By doing this, the number of euthanasia pets will dramatically decrease due to the dramatic decrease of homeless pets in need of shelter. The question is why breed more pets when there are already so many in need of homes at shelter's. With this new law, animals at our shelters will have a better chance at being adopted and we can stop the suffering of more animals before their lives even begin.
We the undersigned are asking you, our lawmakers, to enact a new law that would require all pet owner's to spay and neuter their pets. Doing this would dramatically decrease the amount of money that you spend each year on euthanasia to animals that shelters have no room for. It would also start to address our country's pet overpopulation crisis because it would start to reduce the amount of animals being born. W
