Petition Judge Kane to dismiss lawsuit against Brian Hill

  • by: USWGO
  • recipient: Colorado District Court, Judge John L. Kane, Righthaven LLC
We like you to dismiss the court trial:

Righthaven LLC v. Brian D. HillCourt case number: 1:11-cv-00211-JLK

Reasons why:

(1)Brian Hill broke no copyright law. The usage of the TSA Enhanced Patdown Photo was for educational, political, bringing out the news, and non commercial purposes thus exempted from Copyright Law under Fair Use (Title 17 U.S.C. %uFFFD 106 and 17 U.S.C. %uFFFD 106A)

(2)Brian properly cited the source to Dead Serious News and thanks to Steve Green leaking out the court docket to him he found out that the photo was copyrighted but was too late. Before Steve Green leaked him the report Brian had no knowledge of any copyrights to the photo therefore he did nothing wrong. Also around the time the photo was posted it wasn't even copyrighted. It was copyrighted 7 days after Brian had posted the photo on his website during the TSA Revolt.

(3)Brian assumed the patdown photo was taken in California, San Francisco International Airport.

(4)Brian paid enough by suffering for 1 month due to stress and fear and threats inflicted upon him by Righthaven.

Judge John L. Kane dismiss the court trial against Mr. Hill!
