Sirius was killed during 9/11, trapped in a basement kennel,when his handler left him to help evacuate humans.Sirius was forced to wait for his handler,while the tower he was under was likely crumbling around him,as the scent of death and smoke,pain and fear filled the air.He was also likely forced to breath in smoke,while waiting for his handler to rescue him.Sirius died waiting for his handler to return to him,as he had promised.By the time Sirius was found it was over a day later and he was dead.
The humans who died that day have a public memorial that those who knew them can go to,why doesn't Sirius have one?
