We need YOUR help to save The Peacemaker Program!
The Peacemaker Program teaches violence prevention to children and youth from ages four to fourteen in public and private schools, preschools, summer camps, and youth organizations throughout Pinellas County. The goal of the Peacemaker Program is to empower children to live peaceful lives by assisting them in strengthening developmental assets which serve as the foundation for becoming healthy, caring, and responsible adults. By teaching today's youth about social skills, cognitive and emotional processes, bullying, and diversity along with a myriad of other topics we can work to stop violence in our community before it starts. The Peacemaker program promotes school readiness, addresses child maltreatment and improves school success. For the last 10 years it has been an honor and a privilege to meet the wonderful youth of Pinellas County and teach them about nonviolence. Operating independently from the school we have a unique opportunity to make an impact in these children%u2019s lives as well as provide support and intervention for children in need. Please help us work to stop violence in our community by showing your support of The Peacemaker Program through your signature. The Peacemaker Program receives funding from The Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County. The Peacemaker Program is the collaborative effort of the following agencies; CASA, Operation PAR, the Haven of RCS, and Community Pride Child Care, Inc.
