Protest To Guardian Article: 'Ahmadinejad is who Iranians want'
To The Editor of The Guardian:
The article you published titled 'Ahmadinejad is who Iranians want' was not only offensive but also counterproductive for the millions of Iranians inside and outside Iran whose votes were not counted in the recent election.
Surely a small poll conducted over 9 days in country known for its censorship and lack of transparency is not enough evidence in the face of the millions marching within Iran and around the world over the last few days.
On a day where Iranians are risking their lives to defend a democratic process, when blood is being shed to call for a simple recount of the votes, publishing an article in defense of an unjust election is disgraceful.
