Save the Large Carnivores in Norway from total Extinction!!!

We urgently beg you to sign this petition to try to save the Norwegian large carnivores from total extinction. An unnaturally small amount of heavily supported sheepfarmers and hunters, who has an unnaturally big influence over the politicians, dictates the Norwegian political carnivore compromise. The fact is that we only have under 14.000 sheepfarms in this country, where a third of these are farmers with under 10 sheep. The politicians break international agreements and laws to satisfy these carnivore haters. Its totally surrealistic that the warnings and advices from biologists are set aside. Here are some facts:

2 mill sheep are brought out into the wilderness among carnivores to manage on their own, almost without supervision. 30.000 of them are economically compensated as taken by carnivores. Under 10 % (app. 2600) of these are documented. No one talks about the more than 100.000 sheep that dies of other causes.
By the way, there are over 100.000 moose in Norway, far too many to be properly fed by nature. Even so Hunters complains that wolf takes the meat that 'belongs' to them.

Bears: The newly accepted political carnivore compromise, concluded that the bear numbers should diminish from 166 down to app. 110 bears !!!!

Wolverines: In Norway we have a practice that shock our neighbours. To be able to stay as low as 39 breedings i.e. 250 animals, representatives from the authorities are visiting the dens and have to disturb them more than 3 times before the mother is present in the den together with her small-ones. Then the whole family is slaughtered without any possibility to escape. Norway likes to think that they are an environmental Great Power, and has showed the index finger to countries like Russia for being the opposite. But even Russia is far better than Norway in this context. This spring Russia
passed a new law, stopping all the den-kills.

Lynx: The population has gone down from 92 familygroups 3 years ago, until 72 now, and should stop at 65 familygroups, appr. 370 animals.

Finally, the wolf: That is hated by the hunters barely because of its existence. There can be  3 breedings in Norway, if they are inside a small zone near the swedish border, 33 – 37 animals !!!. The hunters say that they are afraid that the wolf will kill their hunting dogs, even if the statistic says that the probability that they will be killed by a wild boar are 9 times higher.

You should think that a total amount of  far under 1000 carnivores in Norway should be easy to handle, when there are over 100.000 mooses around.

PLEASE GET UP AND HELP THE CARNiVORES IN NORWAY!!!!!
