Save Endangered Sea Turtles from Euthanasia

The University of British Columbia is planning to euthanize seven endangered green sea turtles that it has been experimenting on.
The turtles have been part of a ten year research project at the university and after their final experiment this spring the university plans to euthanize them.

These magnificent creatures have gone through more than enough in the name of science already. Sign and urge UBC to forgo their final experiment and instead find a peaceful home where these turtles to live out their days undisturbed.
We the undersigned believe that the seven sea turtles that are to be euthanized by the University of British Columbia should instead be spared and allowed to live out their days in peace.
These endangered turtles have done more than their fair share for science and we think that the logical and compassionate choice would be to forgo the final experiment which would involve euthanizing these animals and that instead the university should find a suitable home for them.
We understand that CITES would not allow these turtles to be released into the wild or to a for-profit facility but we trust that there are sanctuaries or other facilities in the world that would be happy to house members of an endangered species.
We hope that you choose to spare these turtles.
Thank you for your time.
