Scotland - Don't Ask Donald Trump to Speak at Energy Committee

Building highly unpopular golf courses in the middle of the Scottish countryside doesn't actually give you the right to order around an entire country. Donald Trump appears to think otherwise, throwing a full-scale tantrum when it appeared he wasn't able to stop a wind farm going ahead.

Fortunately, the Scottish Government finally decided to stand up to Trump's bullying, at least so it appeared. However, it now seems that the Scottish Parliament has asked Trump to give "evidence" on renewable energy to a decision-making committee on the 25th of April.

Donald Trump is not an expert on wind energy or the Scottish economy. His interests lie solely with expanding the Trump empire and have nothing whatsoever to do with the Scottish people. Tell the Scottish Parliament not to allow Trump to interfere or try to interfere any more with Scotland's future.
We the undersigned ask that you do not ask Donald Trump to make a personal appearance at a Scottish Parliament Energy Committee. It is quite clear where Mr Trump’s interests lie, and it is not with the Scottish people. Since he is in no way an expert on wind energy, renewables in general or the Scottish economy, there would be little gained from such an appearance and it would send out completely the wrong messages.  We ask that you reconsider inviting Mr Trump to give "evidence" on renewables on the 25th of April.
