KFC suppliers cram birds into huge waste-filled factories, breed and drug them to grow so large that they can't even walk, and often break their wings and legs. At slaughter, the birds throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot wateroften while they are still conscious. It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways.
KFCs own animal welfare advisors have asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so. Many advisors have now resigned in frustration.

We who have signed this petition and many more believe your method of slaughter for your chickens is insane. The pain you are putting the chickens in must be inmeasurable. We urge you to switch to a less cruel way of slaughter, for the chickens sake. It will also benefit you, too. Because the ones who have signed this will not set foot in your restuarants again. The sooner the cruelty stops, the sooner you can see more customers walk in your doors.
