Get Degrassi Off The Air!

We the undersigned,
            Would like you to take the time to read this description of the cause. The cause is about a tv show that shows that sex is ok.
            Degrassi is a show on Teen Nick. It shows girls get naked, but dont show the private parts, the boys take pictures or video tape them. Also that they make out and have sex. It makes teens want to do the same thing that they do. I interviewed 5 girls who are pregnant at my school and 3 others at another High school and 1 at a Middle School on why they had sex. They all said the same thing.... I wanted to be like the girls on Degrassi and be cool. Degrassi isn't teaching teens the consequences in having sex. You could get AIDS, cervical cancer, Genital Warts or Herepes, crabs, or other STDS or getting pregnant. They dont teach you to wait till married. Having sex before marriage is a sin. Degrassi should at least get rid of all the sexual stuff because the more the teens watch it, the more they think that the right thing to do is to have sex and make out with every guy they see. It happened to my friend. No she didnt have sex or anything but she made out with 5 guys at school in the same week and she said she did it because she was inspired by a Degrassi Character. And for heavens sake its on Nickelodon!
Sign the petition to get Degrassi off the air and prevent teens from having sex or at least dont have unprotected sex.
