Tell HauteLook.com to Stop Selling Animal Fur

HauteLook is selling what they call "The Perfect Fur."  Millions of animals suffer every day so that companies like this can profit from their extreme pain. Please, join me by asking them to stop!

Some of these furs are coming from Canada.  Approximately 2-million animals are reported killed each year by the Canadian fur industry.  Half of these are raised in factory farms.  Here, they kill fox, minks, chinchillas, nutrias, rabbits and raccoons.  The fur industry uses taxpayers dollars to wage expensive public relations campaigns in an attempt to disguise the origin of their products.  In Canada, animals are stacked on top of each other in tiny mesh cages in long sheds.  They are left victim to extreme temperatures.  These animals suffer chronic disease, infections, frostbite, social deprivation and mental distress on top of lacking sufficient and proper food and clean water. The animals are inbred for specific colors which cause severe abnormalties- deafness, deformed sex organs, screw necks, anemia, weakened immune systems, crippling, sterility and issues with their nervous systems.

How are they killed?  Gas, anal or vaginal electrocution, neck breaking and lethal injection.

There are no rules and regulations in the Canadian fur trade and when the Canadian government tried to step in, they were met with much opposition from the Canadian fur trade.  They must feel it costs too much to be compassionate. .

Please, join me by asking HauteLook to stop supporting these abuses.

We, the undersigned, are writing to ask that you stop selling fur on your website, Hautelook.com.

You may not know about the awful abuses that happen to animals that are killed for the fur trade.  We were hoping that we would let you know and you would cease to sell and condone all animal furs.

You couldn't imagine the pain that these animals go through as they are made to sit in their own excrement and wait for the day they die.

There are many places in the world that do not show compassion for animals.  Canada is just one area that you support.

Please, stop supporting these abuses immediately.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter.
