Tell Nike: Drop Michael Vick

In 2007 the world was shocked and disgusted at the discovery of Michael Vick's active role in his dog fighting operation called Bad Newz Kennels.  Vick pleaded guilty to bankrolling the set up and served 18 months of a 23 month sentence.  Vick never served time for animal cruelty - which he admitted in court to participating in.

The NFL took him back, the Philadelphia Eagles employes him.  Now, Nike has re-signed an endorsement deal.  It is a grievous miscarriage of justice to reward a convicted felon like Vick with an endorsement deal with a company as well known and respected as Nike, Inc.

In the name of decency and the memory of all the abused and tormented dogs at Michael Vick's Bad Newz Kennels, we call on you Mr. Parker, as the President and CEO of Nike, Inc. to put the lives of pups before the profit.

Do the right thing.  Stop endorsing Michael Vick.
We the undersigned,

Respectfully request Michael Vick be dropped from endorsement by Nike, Inc.

His crimes are far too grievous to be a role model for America's youth.  If you agree that a dog's life is more important than money, you will sever the relationship between Vick and Nike.
