This photo raised since then hundreds, perhaps thousands of comments expressing pain, horrors and indignation, both by the deplorable state of Casimiro's death, stating a criminal negligence by the "information" cruelly denied by the photo published affirming that Casimiro had died of a degenerative disease, had been very love, cured and attended.
As high of mockery ghoulish and cynicism spoke to elevate a monument.
In the pages cited we have assertions in reality not necessary to the seen of the photo of the terrible agony of Casimiro lying on a flat rude and dirty floor, which had been warned much to the press when it was time to remedy and nothing was done.
The comments on the Venezuelans press indicate that several or all of the zoos in Venezuela are in a deplorable state and that the society for the protection of animals that receives money for their suppose work "do-nothing".
The object of the petition is: - The immediate closing of the Park of Guaricha in the town hall of Maturin, Monegas or their leaders' substitution for good enabled people and with budget control and use;- The punishment of those leaders; - Surveillance to prevent their directors to can reemprender a similar activity; - The institution of a commission of control of all the parks or zoological of the country and to apply them the same measures that in the first application.
Este domingo 2 de octubre, nos enteramos a traves de una pagina de Facebook espanola del deceso en un estado aterrador del famoso leon Casimiro, en el Parque de la Guaricha en el estado de Monagas (Wac Animal Park Zoo in Guariche, Venezuela) reportado el dia 29 de septiembre 2010 en:

Esta foto suscito desde entonces cientos y quiza miles de comentarios expresando dolor, horror e indignacion, tanto por el estado deplorable de Casimiro muerto, que atestigua una INCURIA CRIMINAL como por las informaciones cruelmente desmentidas por la foto publicada afirmando que Casimiro habia muerto de una enfermedad degenerativa, que habia sido muy amado,curado y atendido.
Como colmo de burla macabra y cinismo se habla de levantarle un monumento.
En las paginas citadas tenemos afirmaciones en realidad no necesarias al visto de la foto de la terrible agonia de Casimiro tirado en un piso rudo y sucio; que se habia avisado mucho hacia la prensa cuando era tiempo de remediarlo y nada se hizo.
Los comentarios en la prensa venezolana indican que varios o todos los parques zoologicos de Venezuela estan en un estado deplorable y que la sociedad protectora de animales que recibe dinero para su supuesto labor no hace nada.
El objeto de la peticion es:
- El cierre inmediato del Parque de la Guaricha en la alcadia de Maturin, Monegas o sustitucion de sus dirigentes por gente capacitada y con control de presupuesto y utilizacion;
- El castigo de dichos dirigentes;
- Vigilancia para impedir que sus directores puedan reemprender una actividad similar;
- La institucion de una comision de control de todos los parques o zoologicos del pais y aplicarles las mismas medidas que en la primera solicitud.

Enfermedad Degenerativa!? Por La Foto Se Puede Ver:
1.- Que Esta Caquéctico, Es decir Desnutrido.
2.- Que Tiene Lesiones en la Piel Tipo Sarna, Escabiosis.
Es Decir el Animal estaba en estado de abandono. Es Impericia o Negligencia por Omisión, Debieron de Haber Hospitalizado Al León Hace Mucho Tiempo.
Como Van a Dejar Agonizar a Un Ser Viviente Así No Más.
Degenerative Disease!? By The Photo can be seen: 1.- That This Cachectic, i.e. undernourished. 2.- That Has lesions on the Skin Type Scabies, scabies. I.e. the Animal was abandoned. Les agradecemos de antemano leyeran esta carta que les dirigimos con el dolor y la indignacion suscitados por los hechos relatados en nuestra peticion, o sea la muerte en un estado de terrible descuido, desamparo, higiene, miseria y carencia de atencion humanitaria del leon Casimiro, en el parque Wac de la Guaricha, Maturin, Monegas.
A a partir del 29 de septiembre, esta noticia y la desgarradora foto de Casimiro muerto ha dado la vuelta al mundo y levantado una ola de protestas expresadas en Internet.
De la misma forma hemos leeido la ridicula explicacion segun la cual Casimiro hubiera muerto de una enfermedad degenerativa, rodeado de amor, cuidado etc. y hemos copiado varios testimonios en el sentido contrario, por si fuera necesario ya que la foto dice todo.
Segun varios comentarios que tambien copiamos:
-Ese parque no pertenece al Instituto nacional de parques
-Los otros parques zoologicos del pais estarian en un estado tambien deplorable.
Le pedimos de la manera mas atenta:
- El cierre inmediato del Parque de la Guaricha en la alcadia de Maturin, Monegas o sustitucion de sus dirigentes por gente capacitada y con control de presupuesto y utilizacion;
- El castigo de dichos dirigentes;
- Vigilancia para impedir que sus directores puedan reemprender una actividad similar;
- La institucion de una comision de control de todos los parques o zoologicos del pais y aplicarles las mismas medidas que en la primera solicitud.
Coincidimos con muchos de los comentaristas venezolanos en que una excelente solucion seria el cierre de los zoologicos, regresando sus huespedes a sus paises de origen en la medida de lo posible,o buscando soluciones alternativas conformes al bienestar de los animales.
Esperemos que al conocer ese tristisimo estado de las cosas y de no haberse hecho nada, se tomen las medidas que solicitamos, y que son conformes al respecto y al bienestar animal que la humanidad pide y anhela en nuestros tiempos y se aseguren de que algo haci no vuelva a suceder nunca mas, Gracias por su tiempo.

We thank you beforehand read this letter addressed to the pain and outraged raised by the facts in our request, of the death in a state of terrible neglect, abandonment, sanitation, misery and lack of humanitarian attention of the lion Casimiro, in the park Wac of the Guaricha, Maturin, Monegas.
on beginning of September 29, this news and the heartbreaking photo of Casimiro died has turned around the world and lifted a wave of protests expressed on the Internet. In the same way we have read the ridiculous explanation according to which Casimiro had died of a degenerative disease, surrounded by love, care etc. and we have copied several testimonies to the contrary, as if necessary, since the photo says it all.
According to several comments that we also copy:
-That park does not belong to the National Institute of parks , the other zoos of the country would be in a state also deplorable.
We ask of the more attentive way:
- The immediate closing of the Park of Guaricha in the town hall of Maturin, Monegas or their leaders' substitution for good enabled people and with budget control and use;
- The punishment of those leaders;
- Surveillance to prevent their directors to can reemprender a similar activity;
- The institution of a commission of control of all the parks or zoological of the country and to apply them the same measures that in the first application.
We agree with many of the venezuelans commentators in which an excellent solution would be the closure of the zoos, returning their guests to their countries of origin in the extent possible, or seeking alternative solutions conform to the animal welfare.
We hope that knowing the sadly state of the thins and do not have done nothing, you will take the measures that we requested, and that are consistent with respect to animal welfare that humanity calls and longs in our times and make sure something like that never happen again, Thank you for your time.
