Make a documentary about Thomas Paine and Deism

Thomas Paine is one of the most overlooked founders of the American Republic. If it was not for Thomas Paine there is a very good chance the American Revolution never would have happened. When people were sitting on the fence of indecision prior to the revolution, Paine wrote Common Sense which made people see the importance and need for the revolution. When the rebels were being chased across New York and New Jersey losing every battle they were in and most people wanted to give up, Thomas Paine wrote The Crisis which inspired them to continue on against all adversities and dangers. John Adams wrote, "Without the pen of Paine, the sword of Washington would have been wielded in vain."
Thomas Paine wrote The Age of Reason in an effort to bring the abuses committed by "revealed" religions to an end and to give people an alternative to atheism and agnosticism through Deism. In The Age of Reason he called for a revolution in religion which was not possible prior to the success of the American Revolution.
We all owe Thomas Paine a great debt. Educating people about Thomas Paine is the right thing to do in an effort to show him appreciation for his actions and give others a great example to embrace.
