Recently, the Namibia SPCA was allowed to witness the Namibian Seal Cull. After a day of watching innocent pups and bulls being killed in the most horrific way , they called the cull humane! We need to tell them that is unnacceptable and they need to protect the Cape Fur Seal instead of condoning their murder!!
The SPCA, on its website, claims that it supports animal rights:
" In as much as there is ample evidence that many animal species are capable of feeling, we condemn totally the infliction of suffering upon our fellow creatures and the curtailment of their natural behavioral and other needs save where this is necessary for their individual benefit. We do not accept that a difference in species (any more than a difference in race) can justify wanton exploitation or oppression in the name of science or sport, or for use as food, for commercial profit or for other human gain."
But yet , The Namibia SPCA refuses to stand up for the Cape Fur Seal and ending the barbaric hunt .

To whom this may concern ,I am shocked and saddened to learn of the lack of protection for the Cape Fur Seal from the Namibian SPCA. Tens of thousands nurinng baby seal pups are slaughtered every year. This should be one of the primary goals of the Namibian SPCA is to protect these seals. Where have you stood up for the Cape Fur Seal? They deserve you to speak for them just as much as the other animals you protect . I urge you to support Francios Hugo ,to end this barbaric cull . And get the bloodshed stopped.
