Why dont we take care of our own hungrey and homeless children?

- recipient: To end hunger in our own streets, did we forget we have a problem in our own back yard?
I believe there is something seriously wrong with people these days we go all out for people of other country's while our people here in our country starve every day too. But yet we are very quick to have a benefit for another country, what about our country come on people we can end our own hunger .
we the undersigned have a problem with the grocrey stores who would rather feed the pigs and buzzards then to give to someone who can use it. I have seen needless waist of food alot from them and if they just thought about it they could feed alot of people with it and save countless lives. So in conclusion I believe the grocers should come up with a system to give meats away say the day before experation and then only to a afeliated food pantry or hot meal program. This is to ensure that the product will be properly handle and prepared right away. I understand the risks involved with sending it home to familys but make it available to people. We already have the daily hot meal sights wouldnt be hard to affect the plan .
