Marketing approaches to climate change would require Congress to enact new legislation. Congress is also responsible for overseeing the executive branch and ensuring that the administration follows the law. In reaction to federal government attempts to control carbon dioxide emissions from power plants, state legislatures are becoming more interested in climate and energy policy. So why aren't they implementing more laws and funding into helping our climate? Why isn't protection acted upon more? We need to protect the Earth the main way is to take action.
