Term Limits For Rockland County Legislature

It has been a big concern to many residents of Rockland County that our Legislature does not have Term Limits. Unfortunately the only way to have term limits enacted is for the Legislature to put it to a vote. It is a big election year for the them as all seats are up for re-election. We need to push forward and put forth pressure, making our legislators under stand our wants and needs. Why is it surrounding counties have term limits but we don't? This petition cannot force the legislators to put this to a vote but it can let them know where we stand at the voting polls if they don't.
Remember there is strength in numbers.
