Investigators were led, as part of an ananymous tip from Panhandle Animal Welfare Society to Jack Stokes Rd. where they discovered a female pit bull. They returned later and found adult male dachshund, adult male pit bull & 9 dachshund puppies. All abandoned on the property. Mailman, however, tells the investigators he hasn't seen anyone on the property for 3 months. All the dogs were severely emaciated, covered in fleas and all are suffering from anemia. 2 puppies had very low body temperatures and were thus placed into an incubator. The investigation is pending. If you have any information contact Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 850-651-7400 or PAWS at 850-244-0196 immediately. These animals are counting on you to do the right thing!
