Our San Francisco Zoo is set to send their Lions packing to another Zoo, in favor of welcoming Giant Pandas into their home in the Zoo's Lion House.
That's right, No Lions in The Lion House. No Lions at the San Francisco Zoo. No Big Cats at all.
While the SFZoo has not publicly announced this, it is in the City Audit, released this month, as a contingency factor in acquiring Pandas, and no secret among Staff. It is rumored that Mayor Lurie will make an announcement in the near future about Pandas coming to San Francisco.
I'm curious what Locals Reaction to this is.
For that reason, I request that Signatures be limited to those in Northern California, or those who have an interest in SFZoo, and Comments kept on specific topic. Respectfully, this is not a forum for Anti-Zoo agendas. Thank you.
I encourage you to Comment and be a Voice for Our Lions.
