He Raped a 14-Year-Old and Will Serve No Jail Time

Logan Michael Osborn tied up and raped a 14-year-old girl. But the judge presiding over the case decided he doesn't have to serve any of his 10-year sentence.

Please sign my petition asking the state legislature to remove Chesterfield Circuit Judge T.J. Hauler from his position.

Osborn is 19 and took advantage of a young girl who didn't know better. They went to a play together, and then afterwards, he got her alone, pushed her up against a fence and forced her to her knees to perform oral sex. Then he tied a belt around her neck and pushed her around some more while doing more sexual things to her. She cried the whole time.

Osborn has been accused of sex crimes on at least seven occasions, one going back as early as when he was 12-years-old. On top of this history, the psychologist evaluating him put him at moderate to high risk of offending again. This is the exact type of violent criminal who should be serving jail time. But because one judge likes him for whatever reason, he will practically go free.

It is especially suspicious that according to media, Osborn's lawyer and people close to him are presenting him as an amazing student, athlete and employee. And those things may be true, but they don't change the fact that he brutally assaulted a child. He pleaded guilty to tying a belt around a little girl's neck and raping her, but will serve no jail time.

This is not the first time Judge Hauler has misjudged someone. In 2015 he let a convicted rapist out of jail and that man went on to kill his ex-wife's dad and kidnap her mom.

This judge's lack of good judgment is a threat to the safety of this community. Please sign my petition asking the Virginia legislature to get rid of him right away.
