Removal of Big Basswood Lake "Sandbar" Illustration on Printed T-shirt

The making and selling of T-shirts depicting a "sandbar" on Big Basswood Lake has contributed heavily to creating a environmental, health & safety and criminal mischief disaster for the lake and its surrounding property owners. The regular gathering of boats and partiers at the "sandbar" the vast majority who are not property owners, has brought alcohol, drunkenness, lewd behavior, audible obscenities, loud music, trespassing and urination and defecation onto nearby private property as well as into the lake itself. The situation has the potential to seriously impact the lake's cleanliness and has become a virtual nightmare, especially for nearby property owners, who are subjected to hours long disruption and violation of any peaceful serenity that the interlopers bring with them. We the residents and property owners ask that the printing and selling of any T-shirts illustrating the "sandbar" immediately cease. We will reimburse your cost for the most recent order and also buy out the remaining stock on hand. We understand that this is not the ultimate solution to the problem and we are working other avenues to assist us in that endeavor. As local property owners and taxpayers, we hope that you'll join us as we move forward and try and solve what has become a black mark on the lake.
