Disney, Don't Release Future Star Wars Films In Russia Until They Clean Up Their Act!

First, the Russians hack our election and now they have taken to trolling Star Wars with bots to create negative buzz about Star Wars The Last Jedi?

This has to stop. Sign my petition calling on Disney to refuse to release future Star Wars films in Russia until the Russian government reigns in these hackers and trolls.

According to a new report, Russian trolls unduly influenced public perception on Star Wars The Last Jedi and fueled social division about the fact that the movie largely featured women, women of color and men of color and served to subvert traditionally white male hero roles — and the Russian government has done nothing to reign in these hackers and trolls since they influenced the 2018 election. Disney shouldn't reward the Russian people with the next Star Wars movie until they do.

Star Wars is an institution, a story of good battling evil for the sake of the universe and against all odds. A story of ordinary characters in extraordinary situations making decisions for the greater good. We shouldn't allow Russian hackers and bots to rewrite history.

Join me in calling on Disney to refuse to release future Star Wars installments in Russia until the Russian government addresses this situation.
