US Military personnel are dying at home because they are not allowed to be armed!

There have been 21 incidents over the past few years where US military personnel have been killed and/or wounded by Muslim extremists here within the continental United States, and it could have been prevented if they were armed, both on and off duty, and both in foreign lands and at home, just like the soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces. Presidents Bush and Obama declared war on Muslim extremism, and then left our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines unarmed and unable to defend themselves if attacked. Here in the USA it is every citizen's inaleinable right to keep and bear arms. Denying that right to our military, especially during times of war, is criminal at best. After all, there is no one in the nation who is better trained to carry and use them than they are, and they deserve the right to defend both themselves and us whenever the need arises.
Now, because of this, the members of Oath Keepers (www.OathKeepers.org) are standing guard at Armed Forces Recruiting Centers all over the USA because we have the right to be armed while our military does not. We are calling this "Operation Protect the Protectors", and while it is an honor for us to be able to do this for them, it should never have been needed.
Please sign this petition today, and tell President Obama to allow our military to carry loaded sidearms with them at all times so that they are prepared to prevent other tragedies like what happened at Fort Hood, Texas a few years ago, and in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 16, 2015, and at other facilities virtually all over our nation. Give terrorists, no matter what their ideology may be, a very good reason to think twice before they attack a US Military installation whether it is the largest military post in the world or the smallest recruiting station. And, please post this petition on your social media sites, and email the link to every American that you know.

If you want the civilains and veterans who are now proteting the protectors to go home then arm our military everywhere they go, and then the Oath Keepers, and the other organizations supporting this effort, can stand down from this current operation in good conscience.
Please Mr. President, do the right thing, and allow the military personnel that you have placed in harm's way to defend themselves.
