Signatures needed for urgent resumption of works to IMPROVE the Goodwill Lindo Park sports facility

Residents of the Goodwill Community and adjoining Communities, users of Lindo Park are requesting the urgent resumption of works to IMPROVE the Lindo Park facility. This project includes the lighting, fencing and joggers track.

The project is sponsored by the Australian Direct Aid through the Australian High Commission in conjunction with the New Zealand High Commission and is managed by the Lindo Park Improvement Committee.

The commencement of the project was abruptly stopped earlier this year by the Government who promised that it is not political and that they will do what it takes to allow its completion as soon as possible.

As significant as it is to us, it's now more than two months after the halt, yet nothing is being done to bring this important project to reality.
It is important to note that the people from this area and elsewhere will enjoy the benefits of the enhancement of the said facility which will not only provide safety but more convenience to those partaking in their healthy lifestyles with regards to sports and recreation.

Currently we are at risk of the funds being recalled by the Australian and New Zealand Embassies; we therefore are asking you to help us get this project on stream and to stop us from losing access to the funds for the project by signing this petition.

TO THE MINISTER OF LANDS, HOUSING SETTLEMENT & WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Residents of the Goodwill Community and adjoining Communities, users of Lindo Park, hereby request the urgent resumption of works to IMPROVE the Lindo Park facility, namely the lighting, fencing and joggers track. Given the impending risk of the funds being recalled by the Australian and New Zealand Embassies, we therefore solicit your intervention in order to facilitate resumption of the said Lindo Park developments.
