Elon Musk did a heck of a lot of damage when Trump first took office. But now that he has broken with Trump and denounced those in Congress who voted for Trump's "big" bill, he has the chance to do some good -- by obliterating the Republican Party. By spending whatever he needs to, to weaken the Republican Party brand, and defeat its members in the next election.
Musk has the resources to make an unprecedented impact, through ads, grassroots mobilization, and every other campaign tactic known and yet to be developed. He can literally spend 100 times what was spent combined in the last presidential election.
Musk has said that Trump's bill is "utterly insane and destructive." Well, every single Democrat voted against it, and nearly every single Republican voted for it. If Musk really cares about America, he work to defeat Republicans, and elect Democrats. And he will start doing it today.
