WE THE FOLLOWING SIGNERS oppose the Master Plan for Belvedere at Thames as submitted and ask our Boards and Commissions to do their jobs and keep this development within the established Ordinances and Guidelines specific to this historic area.
This Master Plan as filed requires more than 10 Zoning variances and proposes a new mixed use building that will be over 175 feet long, 77.5 feet wide and over 40 feet tall on the corner of Thames & State Streets. This building does not meet well-established Bristol Historic District Commission Guidelines that require small scale buildings within this area.
