Change Car Rider Pick Up At Emerald Hill Elementary!!!!!

Every day at Emerald Hill Elementary parents have to get out of their cars to sign their child out at pick up. They are the ONLY school in Culpeper County Va who has to do this. It’s very dangerous for parents to be standing in the parking lot while they wait the 10 or more minutes to get their child/children. There are cars circling the parking lot because there isn’t enough parking for everyone picking up, parents standing in the road, traffic is backed up and no one can leave on time. Some elderly people are picking up thier children or mothers with infants/toddlers with them have to take them out of the cars and we all have to stand in the heat, pouring rain and even in nasty thunderstorms. This is very dangerous and something else needs to be done. We have spoken to the school on this matter and it just gets brushed under the rug. If other schools with smaller parking lots can figure it out then Emerald Hill can too!!
