Repeal Piedmont Overnight Parking Ban

The City of Piedmont has banned overnight parking from 10pm-7am on the streets that border Oakland in the community near the Piedmont Avenue business district (Rose Ave, Linda Ave, Kingston Ave, Lake Ave), except by permit.

The City of Piedmont has unfairly excluded their own citizens who reside in larger apartment buildings within the designated zone, from obtaining a permit. The ban also unfairly impacts Oakland residents who live in the immediate area and rely on street parking in this area overnight, near their homes.
