Create support for all enrolled Lummi Tribal Members

Lummi Nation has offered funding support to their enrolled members in 2017. According to LIBC Resolution # 2017-133 Title Amending the restriction on the Remaining Ramah Settlement Funds and Authorizing distribution. (Whereas, LIBC restricted the remaining Ramah Settlement Funds for needed capital improvement until such time as the community has had opportunity to provide input through the budget process under the Lummi Code of Laws.
In resolution 2016-180, the LIBC restricted the remaining Ramah Settlement Funds to the tribal members to offset the health disparities the community suffers directly resulting from numerous years of lost opportunity to exercise our treaty fishing rights to harvest salmon and shellfish.)
The action was an act that gave many families hope to some extent for further funding distribution opportunities of support. Understanding that the LIBC has the authority and responsibility to administer all Tribal property and assets pursuant to Lummi Constitution, Art. VI, Sec. 1
We the signed members of the Lummi Nation are requesting our input to be heard at the next LIBC Budget Committee according to Lummi Code of Laws (LCL)
