As a group of people who have been involved with Andrew Cohen in his past role as a spiritual leader - many for 10 - 20 years or more, and some in key positions within his organisation* - we want to warn those who may come into contact with him that in our opinion, at this point in time, he is entirely unfit for any role involving responsibility for the spiritual wellbeing of others. This is due to his well-documented abusive and exploitative character. 

We do not support claims by Andrew that he has made amends for his past abuses and has "learnt from his mistakes". We also strenuously deny accusations that his students dismantled his organisation behind his back. The organisation imploded as a result of Andrew's consistent unwillingness to comply with the standards he ruthlessly applied to his own students, and due to the enormous stresses and divisions created by his incompetence, lack of integrity and absence of care.

When Andrew went on sabbatical he left a trail of destruction that his students have been attempting to clear up ever since. Andrew has had no meaningful part in this process, other than some unsatisfactory apologies to a select few students and some public statements of contrition. Because we find no evidence that Andrew has fundamentally changed, we have every reason to believe that if he acquires any students in the future, they too will be exploited to his advantage, just as we were.
