Please sign and share this petition in an effort to get a Mr. Brian Oldham prosecuted with the harshest punishment for killing his girlfriend Avionne Barrington's and then turning to her and claimed that she is next. Someone like this should not be released from prison, especially since he is a repeat animal abuser.
Apparently, Avionne and Mr. Oldham were having a quarrel when the boyfriend, 24 years of age, threw the 29-year-old woman’s cell phone against the wall, breaking it. He proceeded to turn to the helpless little pooch named Ice as the girlfriend watched him pick up her poor Chihuahua and threw it against the floor, causing the animal's demise. The dog died due to traumatic brain injury. After the incident the sweet boyfriend turned to his loving girlfriend and said, "I killed your dog. You're next!"
Oldham was arraigned last week on a charge of aggravated cruelty to animals, a felony punishable by up to two years in prison. He was also hit with lesser counts of criminal mischief and menacing and was ordered to stay away from Barrington. After the charges, this guy was released on $2,500 bail. Records then reveal that this Mr. Oldham was previously charged for using drugs and kicking a cat in the air, an attack that went viral on video. Releasing him will be a huge mistake because if he finds it so easy to abuse animals, you can be sure he will carry out his threat to the girlfriend. He needs to go to a retrial and be more harshly punished, including putting a ban on him ever coming within inches of another animals.

Brooklyn Criminal Court Judge Laura Johnson and Judicial System - Please, whatever you do, avoid letting this Mr. Oldham walk the streets a free man. Among other things, he is a repeat animal abuser who will strike again. He needs to be more harshly punished, possibly undergoing some mental treatment in addition to banning him from ever coming within inches of another animal ever. If he has the capabilities to be cruel to animals, more than once now, he most certainly is capable of carrying out his threat to kill his girlfriend. Please don't let that happen and put him away.
