STOP THE DEMAND FOR TRANSFER OF POSSESSION REQUIREMENTS FOR PROCESSORS AND TAXIDERMISTS!!!!!!

Beginning with the 2020 hunting season, hunters are required to obtain a transfer of possession form for any kill. This form and/or required information must also be collected by deer processors and taxidermists. According to the law, no animal may be taken without the Conservation Identification Number and the Game check confirmation number. While, we agree with hunters documenting their kills, it is unfair to ask deer processors and taxidermists to do the Game Wardens job by collecting this information. These businesses are seasonal and hunting season is their livelihood, with this new law, we are closing many of them down!!!! These businesses are essential to hunters and shouldn't be made to do the job of the game warden. We demand that this requirement be removed and hunters are responsible for obtaining such documentation and the game wardens follow up with hunters only and leave processors and taxidermists out of the middle!!!!
