Students Against ACTA

People should sign this petition if they care about free spech and belive in an open and free internet.

ACTA will effect free speech by making internet service providers legally responsible for what their users do online,turning them into "Private Copyright Police and Judge", censoring their networks. The effect on free speech would be immense.

The entertainment industry know they cannot stop file sharing without controling the net. But they can use "Piracy" as an excuse to mantain control over what is ditributed on the internet, what can be seen and not seen, while surfing the web.

Another major objection is it could be used to stop the distribution of legal generic drugs to the third world and stop the use of certain seeds for crops.
